Notes

  • The black-box runner clears the environment, so the apphost finds .NET through the registered install location (/etc/dotnet/install_location on Linux and macOS); native CI registers it.
  • On POSIX, argument bytes that are not valid UTF-8 reach the program as U+FFFD (accepted in the HLD: CONV-05 defines arguments as UTF-8 text).
